You may know that I am
deeply skeptical of the output quality of LLM/GenAI assisted code
generation practices - more so, the risks of it being unable to maintain
such generated code. And, I am absolutely against the vibe coding trend
(in which the user does not examine the code, and lacks the skills to
debug it) - as I deem that to be irresponsible.
But, it is undeniable that those trends will only accelerate the amount of solutions/code being produced.
The world has changed since 2022-2023.
Enterprise Architecture must adapt, or die.
The
business needs/expectations/requirements for agility and increased
velocity - are not going to continue to countenance time-consuming and
lengthy EA governance processes.
TOGAF
is a bloated toxic relic of the past - and is unsuitable for going
forward. The entire edifice of any Enterprise Architecture team that
promotes blind rote adoption of TOGAF should be torn down.
